About the position

We’re seeking a Part-Time Compliance Consultant to support our growing team with regulatory and compliance guidance. You will help ensure our solutions align with industry standards and legal requirements—especially around data privacy, employment law, and AI ethics.

This is a flexible, remote consulting role perfect for legal or compliance professionals who want to contribute to a mission-driven tech startup on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Advise on regulatory compliance relevant to hiring, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and AI applications
• Review contracts, policies, and data handling procedures for compliance risks
• Support internal teams with compliance training and best practices
• Monitor evolving regulations that impact our product and operations
• Assist with audits or external inquiries as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory roles — preferably in HR tech, SaaS, or AI
• Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and employment regulations
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities remotely
• Availability for part-time engagement (flexible hours)
